On the heels of a busy stand at Interpack 2014, Jorgensen is celebrating their recent machine installations worldwide.
Jorgensen Engineering, founded in Denmark in 1933, develops, produces, and markets equipment and complete packaging handling systems for the food, pet food and health care industries.
Most recently, Jorgensen have won an order that is one of the largest in its history: a complete packing line for milk powder production. Depalletizing robots, a gassing unit, conveyors and line controls will all be included in the automation project for a large dairy manufacturer.
Amongst other news, Jorgensen have installed 2 robotic depalletizers including various conveyors for empty glasses as part of a cheese production line, a depalletizing system for the handling of all kinds of glass bottles and a fully automatic loading station for aluminium cat food trays.
Two established customers will be adding to existing facilities with a semi-automatic loading/unloading station for cartons and red conveyors for can handling respectively.
